What’s new?

The tea pot, finally. I successfully assassinated the old one, by forgetting about it on the hot stove.

We stocked up on bakhour, incense just in time for Ramadan. Despite the fact that the holy month doesn’t start until next week (not yet clear, which day precisely – we must observe the moon!), we were not able to resist the intoxicating smoke over tea, so we already started burning the new scents.

Otherwise, same old, same old. Many people would say this with a hint of disappointment, but we are quite content. Except for our neighbors, who are still making too much noise upstairs, no one is really spoiling our days (or nights).

We are still amazed by the pleasant weather. We go for walks at sunsets, remembering the same time last year, when “winter” already said goodbye a long time before that.
